The first stage of the former Arta cinema renovations is completed
The Proteszt Association completed the most important stage for safe renovation of the former Arta cinema:- taking down the bricks and the ceiling in the former cinema hall
- protecting the walls by enveloping them in plastics foil
- transporting residual materials outside the premises
The roof beams were used to construct a summer stage for future open-air events. Arta's summer garden will be used as long as weather conditions can allow it. During September, Arta will host "A World Between Us" on September 15th, monodrama performed by Lanstyák Ildikó, as well as the Hungarian Film Festival in Timisoara on September 18-19th.
The rehabilitation of the former cinema building will continue depending on financial resources.
