PERFORMANCE DIRECTED BY SCHILLING ÁRPÁD TO END OUR ONLINE TRANSMISSION
The show "EXIT", directed and co-written by Schilling Árpád (from the 2016/2017 season) will be posted online on May 26th, starting at 7 p.m. for 48h. The performance was co-produced by three public theatres from two countries and it is played in Hungarian, Serbian, Romanian and English. During the time when TESZT was initially planned to take place, the recording of "Manipulations", directed by Bojan Jablanovec, will be available on demand.
The story of several migrants trapped inside a deserted building because of an epidemic is in a way mirroring the ongoing isolation crisis due to the coronavirus. EXIT is a coproduction with the Ioan Slavici Clasical Theatre from Arad and Sombor National Theatre. It was performed across Romania and Serbia, but also in Brussels. EXIT will be posted on our facebook pages in Romanian and Hungarian and it will be subtitled in English.
As the 2020 edition of the TESZT Festival was cancelled, a private link of Manipulations will be made available during May 24-31st. The performance was directed by Bojan Jablanovec from Slovenia's Via negativa and coproduced by Via Negativa - Csiky Gergely Hungarian State Theatre - TESZT - MASZK Association - THEALTER - Kosztolányi Dezső Theatre - DESIRÉ - Infant. Its first presentation was at TESZT 2015. The performance is a series of images and situations on manipulations with trust.
