The "Csiky Gergely" Hungarian State Theater in Timișoara invites the public to a unique theatrical experience, the show "Deep Dive", directed by Balázs Attila. The show is inspired by the album of the same name by the composer Cseh Tamás and writer Csengey Dénes, and the impressive set design is signed by Albert Alpár. The show revives the fascinating universe of Cseh Tamás' creation, bringing to the stage a performer, a guitar and an intense story, in which fine irony and the desire for freedom create a special harmony.
"Deep Dive" is a one-man show performed by Jancsó Előd, an emotional journey into the depths of the human soul, and explores themes such as the absurdity of existence, repressed desires and the monotony of everyday life. Inspired by the atmosphere of the 80s, the eponymous album signed by the composer Cseh Tamás and the writer Csengey Dénes captures both Hungarian and European realities of the time and projects them in a universal and timeless context. Jancsó Előd's personal connection with the artistic expression of Cseh Tamás leaves a strong mark on this production. Starting from his school years and continuing into his student years, the actor turned the art of Cseh Tamás into a defining element of his artistic expression, with the audience witnessing a deep and authentic interpretation.
The premiere will take place on December 15 in the Studio Hall of the Hungarian Theater at 7 p.m. The show will benefit from surtitles in Romanian language.
